Amid renewed attention to a cronyism scandal surrounding Japanese Prime minister Shinzo Abe, his Cabinet's approval rating has taken another hit. <br /> A Kyodo News poll released on Sunday shows support dropping to 38-point-seven percent, down nine-point-four percentage points from a previous poll conducted about two weeks ago.<br />The latest survey was conducted over the weekend, about a week after the Finance Ministry admitted to removing references of Abe and his wife from documents linked to the scandal.<br />More than 66 percent of respondents said Abe should be held accountable for the ministry's action.<br />However, 47-point-six percent said Abe does not need to resign, while 43-point-eight percent said he should. <br />
